The City of Burbank has an immediate opportunity available for a qualified individual to manage the maintenance of the traffic signal system for the City of Burbank and perform related work as required.

Requires any combination of education and/or experience that has provided the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for acceptable job performance as determined by the City OR a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in electronic engineering or related field and two years of experience working with a computerized traffic signal control system, including one year in a supervisory capacity. Additional requirements include a valid California Class “C” driver’s license or equivalent at time of appointment and International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Traffic Signal Technician Level III certification within six months of appointment.

We offer a starting salary of $6,339-$8,336 per month ($36.57-$48.09 per hour) plus superb benefits including City-contributed retirement plan, cafeteria-style health benefits, and tuition reimbursement.
