The City of Beaverton
is seeking Traffic Signal Maintenance Technicians for the Public Works department. A Traffic Signal Maintenance Technician installs, maintains and repairs the traffic signal network and street lighting system. The technician requires knowledge of electrical and electronic theory as it pertains to traffic signals and street lighting systems including: computerized traffic control devices, safety practices and principles related to traffic signals and lighting systems, practices and principles of traffic signal and street lighting installation, maintenance, repair and replacement; ability to perform skilled and semi-skilled journeyman level work in the electrical trades, operate equipment used in traffic signal and street lighting installation, maintenance and repair, read and follow electrical plans and specifications, diagnose causes of electrical failure, communicate effectively orally and in writing with diverse customers.

Salary Range: $23.63-$31.67 per hour. Starting salary will be determined depending on relevant work experience.
