IMSA/IAFC Frequency Coordination announces a new service to assist you with your Narrowband Licensing

In an effort to facilitate the public safety community conversion to the FCC mandated narrowbanding deadline we are pleased to offer an easy one step method to add narrowbanding emissions to your current radio license.  Simply sign the FCC Main Form Page 4 (http://www.fcc.gov/Forms/Form601/601main.pdf) write your current call sign(s) below your signature along with a contact name and phone number for a person who can answer any questions we may have.

Fees:

Public safety licensees that are Government Entities - $75.00.

Public safety licensees that are Non Government Entities - $135*.

*If you are designated as a 501 (C) entity provide a copy of the determination letter to qualify for the $75.00 fee.

Services:

  • IMSA/IAFC Frequency Coordination will perform the following services:
  • Completion of the FCC Form 601 adding the narrowband emissions.
  • Addition of all missing information in the FCC Universal Licensing Service (ULS) database pertaining to your license such as HAAT, missing ERP, missing support structure data, vague Area of Operation data, etc.
  • Canadian Line A notification if applicable.

Adding narrowband emissions does not require removal of your wideband emissions at this time.
