Sign Erector

Job Description

The Signal Group, Inc., which specializes in electrical construction for the transportation industry, is seeking a Sign Erector for our location in Coral Springs, Florida with a minimum of 2 years of related experience in roadway sign erection.
Candidates must have the ability to interpret blue prints and drawings, must have a clean driving record, must possess a Florida CDL (class A or B) or have the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment. Must be willing to submit to pre-employment/random drug screening,

Job Duties: Erect and install sign structures including but not limited to cantilevers, butterflies, multi-post, single-post, trusses and bridge mounts, or other similar operations. Operate a bucket truck; operate a truck-mounted utility-type boom to erect signs, and auger holes, setup MOT signs and cones around work areas to divert traffic, drive trucks or transport crews and equipment.

Education/Training Requirements: High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred. IMSA Intermediate MOT, IMSA Level I or Level II Traffic Signalization Certification. IMSA Level I or Level II Signs and Markings Certification, Boom Truck Operator Certification preferred, but not required.
