ELECTRICIAN

$58,236.00 - $70,800.00 Annually

DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, to perform skilled journey-level electrician duties involving the installation, maintenance, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical, electromechanical, electronic equipment, process instrumentation and computerized control systems for City facilities which include but are not limited to street lighting, traffic control and traffic signal systems, buildings, City Water and Wastewater facilities and other City facilities and to perform related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Possession of a valid California Driver’s License and a good driving record;

• High School diploma or equivalent;

• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program, or equivalent and a minimum of three years of           work experience as a journey-level electrician.

License/Certifications Desirable:

• Possession of a valid Commercial Class B California Driver's License;

• Current certification for General Electrician or a Contractors State License C10;

• Current Traffic Signal Bench Level II Certification issued by the (IMSA).
