Escambia County is seeking a Traffic Signalization Engineer. This position is under supervision of the Public Works Director, performs technical skilled work handling signal retiming in Northwest Florida’s Escambia County, City of Pensacola, and Santa Rosa County, developing, planning, organizing, and supervising the State and County's traffic system, the Traffic and Transportation portion of design of roadways, and operation and maintenance of signal systems, signing and striping, neighborhood mitigation, and traffic operations in Escambia County.


Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, Engineering or a related field and five (5) years professional experience in the planning, operating, maintaining, and/or design of transportation projects. Municipal experience is highly desirable.


Licensing Requirements:


Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Florida.  Valid Driver's License


Recruitment Range: $64,188 - $74,588 Annually
