SIGNAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Starting Salary: $15.43/hr.

The City of Mesquite is seeking a qualified Signal Maintenance Technician to join the Public Works Traffic Division. The Signal Maintenance Technician will maintain, repair and construct traffic signals, maintain accurate records on material and equipment used and will perform a variety of tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.

• Requires one (1) year of responsible experience in the maintenance, repair and construction of traffic signals including experience in electronics repair.

• Must obtain a Commercial Class A Driver’s License within one hundred eighty (180) days of employment as a condition of continued employment.

Must be available to work flexible schedule M-F 7:30-4:30pm (rotating schedule; 44 hours one week then 36 hours the following week).
