Traffic Operations Superintendent

Gainesville City Government is recruiting a Traffic Operations Superintendent.

Responsibilities: Plans, coordinates, reviews and evaluates programs and projects for traffic signals, sign fabrication, sign installation, and pavement markings within the city.

Requirements: Associates Degree with two years experience in municipal management, or minimum of 5 years of related equivalent experience. Ten years related experience in the traffic engineering field. Certificate of APWA Management Program, preferred. Valid Driver's License and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). State of Georgia Electrician’s License desirable. Level II Traffic Signal certification desirable. Level II Signs and Markings IMSA certification desirable.
