Traffic Signal Electronic Technician

The Traffic Signal Electronic Technician installs, maintains and repairs traffic signal equipment; modifies existing traffic signal equipment to improve operations; designs and builds test equipment. A successful candidate must have a high School diploma of GED, and Associate’s Degree is preferred. Three years experience in electronics, including two years experience in the maintenance of traffic signal electronic components or in a related capacity. Experience in test or repair of microprocessor based equipment. Additionally, the individual must have an I.M.S.A Traffic Signal Technician Level II Certification.
