Kenneth R. Balltrip is IMSA’s President Elect for 2015 - 2016



Rockledge, FL May 23, 2015


IMSA Deputy Executive Director Douglas M. Aiken is pleased to announce the election of Kenneth R. Balltrip as President Elect of IMSA.  Ken currently serves as a Director-at-Large on the IMSA Board of Directors and is the president of the Rocky Mountain Section of IMSA.  He is the Traffic Operations Supervisor for the City of Greeley, Colorado.


In addition to his leadership roles at the section and International levels of IMSA he is also a moderator for all of the IMSA Traffic Signal Level II certification programs as well as the Sign and Marking, Roadway Lighting and Work Zone Temporary Traffic Control programs.  Ken is active in his community and served in several leadership positions of the Jaycees, the Elks and the Marine Corps League.  He is a Marine Corps veteran.


Ken thanked the Council of Delegates for their support of his candidacy saying “I wish to express my most sincere appreciation to the Council of Delegates for the confidence they have placed in me by electing me to be the next President-Elect.  I am looking forward to continuing to serve the Council and the membership for the next three years and beyond.  Thank you to all.”


He will assume his new position on the IMSA Board of Directors for 2015 – 2016 during the 120th Annual IMSA Conference which will be held in New Orleans, LA, August 22 – 25, 2015.  He will become the President of IMSA at the 121st Annual Conference in 2016.
