Street & ROW/Stormwater Utilities Section Leader
SALARY: $14.90 – $20.85/hr
Supervisory and technical work with administrative responsibility for management of the City’s Stormwater Utility and Street/Right-of-Way maintenance activities and programs. Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. Certification in CPR/First Aid. Must possess or obtain and FDEP Qualified Stormwater Management Inspector Certification within one of employment. Must possess an IMSA Sign & Markings Level III Certification within one year of employment. Must possess all Federal Emergency Management Agency’s ICS Certifications required for an Incident Commander or obtain the certifications within one year of employment. Must possess a valid Florida Drivers License. Ability to operate a motor vehicle. Must possess a valid Florida Commercial Drivers License Class B with air brake endorsement. This position is to be considered an “essential personnel” and is required to report to duty for emergency situations such as floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, sinkholes, water/sewer breaks and other crises to provide for public safety. Ability to be “On Call” 24-hr Emergency standby as required by rotation. Employee must live close enough to the City to be able to respond to Emergency call backs and be on scene within 30 minutes.
