Traffic Signal Technician
Salary: $60,085.94 - $84,530.65

Under direction, the Traffic Signal Technician would provide technical support in the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of traffic control signals, equipment, and systems; and monitors the correct operation and timing of traffic control devices.
Education/Training : 
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:  
Completion of a high school diploma or the equivalent supplemented by college level course work in electronics, electrical, or a related field.


Three years of journey level experience in the repair, maintenance, and installation of traffic control units and equipment.

License or Certificate:
Possession of an appropriate, valid driver's license.
Possession of a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
Possession of an International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) certification in traffic signals.
