The Public Works Department is currently looking for a motivated individual to join the Operations and Maintenance Division and encourages all engineers with relevant professional experience to apply!
The Operations and Maintenance Division is responsible for maintenance functions in Public Works associated with streets and drainage. This includes pavement management, surface treatments, ADA improvements, sidewalks and coordinating with other City departments, consultants, and outside agencies.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of general engineering principles and standards, the ability to analyze data to make intelligent assessments and the ability to learn quickly in a supportive environment. Although not necessary, experience with project inspection, data collection, field investigations and work experience as a Public Works employee would be beneficial. To be successful in this position, strong judgement and prioritization skills are essential.
