Public Works Maintenance Foreperson
Under direction works with, coordinates and directs the work of a crew and contractors in connection with the construction, maintenance, installation, operation and repair of City property, facilities and equipment; performs other related work as required. The current vacancy exists in the Public Works Department’s Concrete Shop.
Classifications requiring the maintenance of a valid California Commercial Driver’s License
(CDL) shall receive Sixty Five Dollars ($65.00) per month for maintaining their CDL.

Any combination equivalent to education and experience likely to provide the required knowledge and abilities. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Education: Graduation from high school.
Experience: Three years of progressively responsible experience as designated, in public works maintenance or in the maintenance/construction trades.
Desirable: Concrete and pavement experience highly desirable. Front loader experience and a minimum of one (1) year Backhoe experience. ISMA Work Zone Traffic Control Safety certification.
