The Traffic Operations Technician is responsible to perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled work in the installation, repair, and maintenance of traffic control devices, such as traffic control signs and pavement markings; to install and maintain parking meters, ticket dispensers, and associated equipment; and to assist with conducting traffic counts.
One year of responsible maintenance or construction experience. Prior work experience that involved assisting with the installation and maintenance of traffic control devices is desirable.
High School diploma or GED equivalency.
License or Certificate:
Possession of, or the ability to obtain, a valid California driver’s license.
