TRAFFIC SERVICES SUPERVISOR – CITY OF LEWISTON, IDAHO
The hiring range for this position is $58,224.13 – $68,771.30. The successful candidate will be placed within that range based on qualifications and experience. This position is open until filled.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Street Maintenance Manager, oversee and direct and participate in a variety of activities for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of computer-based traffic signals, electronic equipment and street lighting; production, installation and maintenance of traffic signs and pavement markings for the city. Operate and supervise the maintenance of a variety of vehicles and specialized equipment and tools. Train, assign, supervise and evaluate the work of assigned personnel; assure work projects are completed in compliance with federal, state and local laws, regulations and standards, as well as, specifications, traffic orders and time lines. Plan, schedule, and direct and participate in the installation, maintenance and repair of the City’s traffic regulatory systems, devices and street lighting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school supplemented by college-level course work, industrial or military electronic experience and six years of increasingly responsible traffic regulation maintenance experience.
- Valid Class B commercial driver’s license without A “No Air Brake” restriction and a tanker endorsement, Traffic Control Supervisor Certification within 6 months of hire, OSHA 10 card within 1 year of hire and an International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Signals Level III Certification within 18 months of hire.
