The IMSA Journal is published six times annually and has a circulation of close to 10,000, primarily in the United States and Canada. Each member of IMSA receives the Journal as a benefit of membership.

Content Submission for the Journal

The IMSA Journal is made possible by the submission of content from members and sections that offer enrichment. You are encouraged and welcome to submit articles, project highlights, case studies, employee recognition, thought leader content or anything else that would be of interest to your peers.

Earn CECs as a Journal Contributor

If you are looking for a meaningful way to share your expertise while renewing your certification, writing an article is a great opportunity.

What You Need to Know

  • Topics: Articles must be directly related to the IMSA certification you currently have or are renewing.
  • CECs: Submissions must be a minimum of 600 words to receive one CEC. Additional CECs may be awarded for articles that significantly exceed the minimum word count and/or for topics that require substantial research or development time.
  • Editorial review: All articles will be reviewed prior to acceptance and publication.
