Introduce the attendees to basic and intermediate troubleshooting procedures with a slant towards safety and reducing legal liability.

Individuals who are beginning a career in the traffic industry or who require basic knowledge of troubleshooting.
NEMA Traffic Signal 2 Troubleshooting Seminar
How long is it?
2 days
What is the purpose?
Introduce the attendees to intermediate and advanced troubleshooting procedures for the TS-2 communication bus.
Who will benefit from it?
Individuals who are expanding their career in the traffic industry or who are required to install or service TS-2 type cabinets.
IMSA reserves the right to cancel NEMA Traffic Signal 1 and 2 if minimum registration is not met by June 10.

FEATURED TECHNICAL SESSION:
Intersection Safety Using Dual Physical and Network Defenses to Mitigate Vulnerabilities by Shea Tomsin
This session details specific security threats and methodologies used to mitigate potential vulnerabilities unique to the ITS architecture. It will cover how the recent software development platform, Secure by Design (SBD), is being implemented in central control and local intersection programs, designed for the Advanced Traffic Controller (ATC) platform.
FEATURED TECHNICAL SESSION:
Hands-On Cabinet Configuration and Testing by Matt Zinn
This session is designed to help for those looking to complete TS2 or TS3 certifications learn how to set up configurations for intersections and test them using the CyberCabinet tester for ATC, TS2 or Caltrans Cabinets. It will also go over setting up an intersection in a controller and then going through the testing.

Habitat for Humanity-Spokane is welcoming volunteers to their build sites in Spokane Valley, WA! Join hands with your IMSA peers in service to Spokane and plan to volunteer on Saturday, July 11. Together, we’ll help construct homes using sustainable building practices. Tasks may include framing, drywall, insulation, siding, flooring, painting and more. No prior experience is required.
