Nominations are accepted year-round. The deadline for 2026 Award Nominations is March 16.
The IMSA Outstanding Certification Award
The Outstanding Certification Award is given to an IMSA member based on:
🌟 International and/or section level volunteerism
🌟 Involved in running certification
🌟 Teaching certification
🌟 Promoting certification
🌟 Time donated related to certification
🌟 Maintains record keeping
🌟 Communication with EAC Chair and international staff
*Only IMSA members can submit a nomination
The Sustaining Member Award
The IMSA Sustaining Member Award is given to an IMSA Sustaining Member based on:
🌟 Presents tech sessions at international and section level
🌟 Company involvement on international and section level
🌟 Advertising in IMSA publications
🌟 Attendance at international and section meetings
🌟 Length of service and dedication to IMSA
🌟 Willing to work with international staff, when asked
🌟 Contribution to IMSA Journal magazine
*Only IMSA members can submit a nomination

The IMSA Section Award is given to an IMSA Section based on:
🌟 Percentage of new members
🌟 Technical meetings/special projects per year
🌟 Participation in certification
🌟 International conference attendance
*Only IMSA members can submit a nomination
The IMSA Board of Directors President’s Award
The IMSA President’s Award is given to an IMSA member based on:
🌟 Assistance offered to President during term of office
🌟 Completion of special project
🌟 Involvement beyond call of member
🌟 International Chair of committees, with many years of service
*Only IMSA International Board of Directors’ president can submit a nomination
The IMSA Outstanding Member of the International
Board of Directors Award
The IMSA Outstanding Member of the International Board of Directors Award is given to a current IMSA International Board member based on:
🌟 Time on the Board
🌟 Dedication to the Board
🌟 Special projects, including any special committee involvement
🌟 Regular communication with section members
🌟 Lives IMSA; does not only attend the Board meetings
🌟 Committee Chair or committee involvement
*Only IMSA current International Board of Director members can submit a nomination

The IMSA Outstanding Section Secretary Award is given to an IMSA member based on:
🌟Section duties
🌟 Meeting set-up
🌟 Certification involvement
🌟 Record keeping
🌟 Communication at international and section levels
🌟 Length of service
