Transportation public safety professionals from across North America will converge in Spokane, Washington this summer to experience the latest innovations, hands-on training and networking at the 2026 IMSA Forum and Expo.
The industry-leading event will take place July 12–16 at the Spokane Convention Center, bringing together professionals who design, build and maintain the nation’s transportation infrastructure. The annual forum is a cornerstone event for advancing careers, strengthening professional connections and staying ahead of emerging trends in public safety.
Approximately 80 exhibitors will fill the Expo Hall, showcasing leading-edge products, services and technologies designed to improve roadway safety and operational efficiency. The Expo Hall will go beyond traditional exhibits, offering interactive competitions, live field and product demonstrations, and a dedicated Safety Pavilion with top gear highlighting best practices and real-world solutions.
“This is where innovation meets application,” said Executive Director Heidi Cramb. “Attendees will experience firsthand how new tools and technologies perform in the field while engaging directly with industry experts and solution providers.”
Education and training for in-demand careers remains at the core of the 2026 IMSA Forum and Expo. Attendees can choose from up to nine available IMSA certifications or a NEMA TS 1 or TS 2 certification program during the week. IMSA certifications will be offered in work zone safety, traffic signal, signs and pavement markings, roadway lighting and fiber optics.
In addition, participants may choose from more than 20 expert-led technical sessions covering current challenges, emerging technologies and evolving standards in transportation public safety.
