How do I renew my IMSA Certification(s)?

There are 2 main components to start the process and meet the requirements:

1. You will need to have a record of 4 hours of related continuing education for Work Zone Temp Traffic Control and 16 hours of related continuing education for other certifications. Watch the short video below on how to upload your continuing education into your IMSA portal or follow these step-by-step instructions.
   • Start by navigating to IMSAsafety.org in your web browser and log into your account with your IMSA number and your password. (If you have forgotten your password, click on Forgot password and reset instructions will be sent to your email address on file. If you have forgotten your IMSA number, you can find it here.)
   • Once you’ve gained access to your account click on My Certification Record, then click on the large green + and enter in all the required information, be sure to include a certificate of completion if one is issued.
2. You will need to submit via email to Cert@IMSAsafety.org a completed Declaration and Release form – title(s) of certification(s) being renewed and signature are required.
