Summary
As an IMSA Field Technician Level II (minimum) at Griffin Traffic Signals, you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of traffic signal systems. This role is vital to ensuring the safety and functionality of our infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain traffic signal systems according to specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of existing traffic signals.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues effectively.
- Operate hand tools and specialized equipment for repairs and installations.
- Perform electrical testing using tools such as ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality.
- Collaborate with team members to execute field service tasks efficiently.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients on-site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an IMSA Field Technician minimum Level II.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiar with video detection systems like Miovision & ITS PTZ cameras.
- Experience with working on overhead traffic signals and street lighting in a bucket truck.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics & trouble shooting issues with traffic signals & street lighting.
- Able to wire traffic signal cabinets and lighting load centers.
- Experience with various traffic signal controllers like McCain & Intelight and able to program them.

Pay: $25.00 – $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
